I would like to welcome you all again to this year’s Primrose Trophy Rally, organised by Clitheroe and District Motor Club. This is one of the club’s oldest events, which was resurrected back in 2014. Building on the success of previous years, we hope we can provide a good night’s sport once again.
This year’s route uses maps 97, 98, 102 and 103, featuring 100% top quality tarmac in a compact 87 mile route in a “no nonsense” format with no petrol halt and no breakfast. This will provide a great nights sport for all competitors alike.
I would also like to make it clear that this is not a spectator event; those interested in seeing and being part of the action should contact the chief marshal and get involved that way.
As with previous years, the club has chosen to support a charity through the running of this event: North West Air Ambulance Charity. £5 from every entry will be donated directly to the charity, with an opportunity to add to this amount on the entry form. There will also be a collection at signing-on; please give generously either way. I’m sure you’ll all agree that this is a cause worth giving to, and one that we all hope we will never have to use.
We are always striving to make the event better, and I would be happy to hear your feedback, both good and bad after the event. Also, in cases where you may have queries that arise before the event, please also feel free to get in touch..
I look forward to receiving your entries. See you on the night!
